Women’s soccer beat Lamar in the final game of the regular season
3/20: Foster (8) vs. Victoria West (0)
Kacie Pryor didn’t allow a single run as Foster defeated Victoria West 8-0 on Tuesday. Pryor allowed just six hits. Foster pulled off the big victory without ever scoring many runs in an inning. The most they scored was two in the sixth. Foster opened up scoring in the first inning. Pryor singled on a 3-1 count, scoring one run. Pryor got the win for Foster. She surrendered zero runs on six hits over seven innings, striking out 13 and walking one. Foster totaled 13 hits. Pryor, CiCi Mata, Kylie Neel, and Lia Castillo all managed multiple hits for Foster. Pryor led Foster with four hits in four at bats. Foster was sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error.
3/23: Foster (0) vs. Angleton (1)
Foster watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 1-0 loss to Angleton High School on Friday. Angleton High School took the lead on an error in the second inning.
The pitching was strong on both sides. Angleton High School pitchers struck out six, while Foster sat down seven. Angleton High School fired up the offense in the second inning. An error scored one run for Angleton High School. One bright spot for Foster was a single by CiCi Mata in the third inning. Kacie Pryor took the loss for Foster. She surrendered one run on six hits over seven innings, striking out seven and walking one. Alyssa Muceus led Foster with two hits in three at bats.

3/23: Foster JV (1) vs. Angleton (13)
Falcons JV fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 13-1 loss to Angleton on Friday. The Falcons JV struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Angleton, giving up 13 runs. Kenzie Layman led things off on the hill for Falcons JV. She lasted three and two-thirds innings, allowing ten hits and 14 runs. Deasisa (Dee) Davenport and Hannah Harrison each managed one hit to lead Falcons JV.
Katy ISD JV Tournament
3/24: Foster JV (3) vs. Katy (6)
Falcons JV fell 6-3 to Katy on Saturday despite out-hitting them seven to six. Katy captured the lead in the first inning. Katy took the lead for good with two runs in the third inning. Kenzie Layman took the loss for Falcons JV. She lasted four and a third innings, allowing six hits and six runs. Falcons JV tallied seven hits on the day. Rayne Athaus and Jordan Lesak all collected multiple hits for Falcons JV. Athaus went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Falcons JV in hits.
3/24: Foster JV (1) vs, Atascocita (5)
In the first inning, Falcons JV got their offense started when Kenzie Layman singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run. Layman took the loss for Falcons JV. She lasted four innings, allowing six hits and five runs while striking out one and walking one. Layman led Falcons JV with one hit in two at bats.
3/20: Foster (0) vs. Victoria East (4)
A single by Hunter Genebacher in the fifth inning was a positive for Foster Varsity.
Cade Sitka was on the mound for Foster Varsity. He went five innings, allowing four runs on five hits, striking out five and walking zero. Connor Korczynski threw one inning out of the bullpen. Genebacher and Stuart Johnson all had one hit to lead Foster Varsity.
3/23: Foster (8) vs. Angleton (6)
Foster Varsity Grabs Lead In Fifth Inning To Defeat Angleton. Foster Varsity took the lead late and defeated Angleton 8-6 on Friday. Foster Varsity trailed 6-5 in the bottom of the fifth inning when Quinton Oliver singled on a 3-2 count, scoring two runs. There was plenty of action on the basepaths as Foster Varsity collected ten hits and Angleton had six. Angleton got on the board in the first inning. Shea Sliva-Wynne’s wild pitch allowed one run to score for Angleton. Foster Varsity put up four runs in the fourth inning. Foster Varsity batters contributing to the big inning included Oliver, Cade Sitka, and Austin McDade, all sending runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning. Matthew O’Driscoll was credited with the victory for Foster Varsity. He lasted four innings, allowing four hits and zero runs while striking out five and walking zero. Zach Limas threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen. Limas recorded the last three outs to earn the save for Foster Varsity. Sliva-Wynne started the game for Foster Varsity. He surrendered six runs on two hits over two innings. Foster Varsity tallied ten hits. Colt Terpstra and Chance Van Cleave each had multiple hits for Foster Varsity. Terpstra went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Foster Varsity in hits.
3/20: Foster JV Gold (5) vs. Victoria East (0)
Chase Albright threw a gem on Tuesday for Foster Falcons JV, allowing zero runs and besting Victoria East by a score of 5-0. Foster Falcons JV put up three runs in the fifth inning. Foster Falcons JV scored its runs on a error by Walker Ashley. Albright led the Foster Falcons JV to victory on the pitcher’s mound. He surrendered zero runs on five hits over six innings, striking out nine and walking one. Albright and John Downer each managed one hit to lead Foster Falcons JV.
3/23: Foster JV Gold (5) vs. Angleton (8)
In the first inning, Foster Falcons JV got their offense started when Ryan Stubblefield singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run. Foster Falcons JV put up three runs in the sixth inning. Foster Falcons JV big bats were led by Chase Albright and Joe Guerra, all driving in runs in the frame. Ryan Balusek was on the mound for Foster Falcons JV. He allowed five hits and six runs over three and a third innings, striking out three. Jake Capel threw two and a third innings in relief out of the bullpen. Foster Falcons JV totaled six hits in the game. Albright and Nick Mota all managed multiple hits for Foster Falcons JV. Mota and Albright each collected two hits to lead Foster Falcons JV.

3/23: Angleton Purnell Relays: Varsity Men’s Champs!
- Chris Laywon won 1st in the 800m making his return to the track from injury
- Triple Jump: Ezekiel 3rd, Isaiah and Amryn 1st
- Shot Put: For the 3rd week in a row Michael Maves wins 1st
3/23 LCISD Varsity Tournament
- Barron’s win first set against Clements.

- Congratulations to Nicole and Natalia! Tournament Champions at the LCISD Varsity tournament. A tough win over a talented College Park team 6-2 , 5-7, 10-6
Foster Water Polo
3/23: Allison Maloney Memorial tournament at the Conroe ISD Natatorium
- Foster Girls Water Polo and Foster Boys Water Polo defeat Southlake Carrol at the Allison Maloney Invite.
- Foster Boys defeated Strake Jesuit to move into the finals against Flower Mound, but fell in overtime to Flower Mound HS 7-8 for a 2nd place finish.
