What an exciting time!  We have secured a spot in the 5A Division 1 Region 3 Final game with our big win over Hutto on Friday night.  It was a great team win!  Thank you to all the parents, students, friends, and family members that came out to support us this past week.  We are going to need ALL your support again this week. This is the 2nd year in a row that we have made the 4th round.  It is starting to become a habit!

Here are the details of the game:

  • Who: Foster Falcons (home team) vs. Shadow Creek Sharks (visitor)
  • What: 5A Division 1 Region 3 Final
  • Where: TDECU Stadium on the campus of the University of Houston (3875 Holman St, Houston, TX 77004)
  • Time: 2:00 pm
  • Date: Saturday, December 8, 2018

Ticket prices: To be decided on Monday, 12/3.  There will be a pre-sale price and a gate price, and I highly recommend that you buy tickets early when the prices come out! Tickets can be bought in the front office at Foster HS.

Here is the practice plan for the week:

We will be practicing at Traylor Stadium for every practice this week.  We are trying to get into TDECU Stadium to practice one day this week, but the day hasn’t been determined yet.  I will let you know when that is confirmed.

Monday, 12/3:

Practice from 4:00-6:15 pm.  This is for all varsity and scout team players.

Tuesday, 12/4:

Practice from 4:00-6:15 pm. This is for all varsity and scout team players.

Wednesday, 12/5:

Practice from 4:00-6:15 pm. This is for all varsity and scout team players.

Thursday, 12/6

Practice from 4:00-5:15 pm. No scout team players needed.

Friday, 12/7:

No after school practice.  We will do everything during the athletic period.

Saturday, 12/8:


  • Varsity reports by 9:30 for team breakfast
  • Leave for UH at 11:00 am
  • Game time is 2:00 pm
  • Return to Foster at 7:00 pm


Thank you for all the support so far this season. I’m super proud of all the players for all the hard work they have put in.  This week is going to be tough, but I know we are up for the challenge!
