3/9/19: Texas Classic Tournament

The Foster Boys are Texas Classic tournament champions beating Strake Jesuit 14-12.


The Foster Girls are the Texas Classic tournament champions. The Girls played a tight game against a very talented St Agnes team winning 7-4.

3/5/19: Foster vs. Shadow Creek

BIG WIN tonight over a good Shadow Creek team! Scoring both goals for the Falcons was Jasmin Badillo! Strong defensive effort by Elise Cheramie, Chole Mills, Jade Cheramie, & Ashley B. Shut out in goal by Grace Shivers. Falcons remain undefeated in District!


3/8/19: Foster vs. Willowridge

Foster traveled to Willowridge on Friday night for a district game against the Eagles.  With warmer than normal temps and forecast rain, the halves were shortened to 35 minutes each.  Foster started the scoring early with a goal by Jasmin Badillo in the 4th minute.  Three more goals over the next 20 minutes by Jasmin (2) and Angelica Bochus sent Foster into the half with a 4-0 lead.  Marin Stephan had two assists and Tola Ajayi had one.  Kelly Rivas started in goal but saw very little action as Foster controlled the middle of the field and kept the ball firmly in Willowridge’s half.  In the second half, Foster took advantage of the lead to rotate some players in and get some valuable experience.  Jasmin and Tola each got two more goals and Jenay Garcia added a goal of her own for a 10-0 final score.  Corbie Chapman and Sydney Yeverino each had an assist.  Grace Shivers closed out the clean sheet in the second half, their 10th shutout in district play. Foster has a home game against Manvel on Tuesday, 12 March, at 7:30 PM.

JVA with a 0-0 draw at Shadow Creek. Michael Okufuwa was excellent in the midfield.


3/8/19: Foster vs. Willowridge

JVA with a huge 1-0 win over Willowridge! Adrian Yousseff with the goal. Michael Okufuwa with the assist. Jorge Galvan and Luis Reyes with fantastic defense aiding Ezekiel Cerda’s clean sheet.

3/8/19: Foster (16) vs. Hightower (0)

Peyton Welker shut down Fort Bend Hightower, throwing a complete game shutout and leading Foster to a 16-0 victory on Friday. Foster secured the victory thanks to ten runs in the second inning. Kylie Stamper, Amanda Allen, Leea Dempsey, Sierra Toman, Shelby Showers, and Stamper all contributed in the big inning with RBIs.

Foster tallied ten runs in the second inning. Foster big inning was driven by singles by Dempsey and Stamper, an error on a ball put in play by Stamper and Toman, a groundout by Showers, and a double by Allen.

Welker led things off on the rubber for Foster. She surrendered zero runs on one hit over three innings, striking out seven and walking one. Foster had 15 hits in the game. Cici Mata, Alyssa Muceus, Ripley Welker, Dempsey, and Allen all managed multiple hits. Mata led Foster with three hits in four at bats. Foster didn’t commit a single error in the field. Emily Naivar had the most chances in the field with five.

3/9/19: Foster (11) vs. Shadow Creek (0)

Amanda Allen shut down Shadow Creek, throwing a complete game shutout and leading Foster to a 11-0 victory on Saturday. Kylie Neel led Foster to victory by driving in five runs. She went 3-for-4 at the plate. Neel drove in runs on a home run in the third, a single in the fourth, and a double in the fifth. Foster fired up the offense in the first inning. An error scored two runs for Foster. Foster put up three runs in the fifth inning. The offensive onslaught came from a sacrifice fly by Kylie Stamper and a double by Neel. Allen got the start for Foster Falcons Varsity. She allowed three hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out eight and walking zero. Foster launched two home runs on the day. Alyssa Muceus had a dinger in the third inning. Neel went yard in the third inning. Foster totaled 13 hits in the game. Cici Mata, Neel, Muceus, and Stamper each managed multiple hits. Neel and Mata all had three hits to lead Foster. Foster didn’t commit a single error in the field. Muceus had the most chances in the field with eight.

3/5/19: Foster (6) vs. Lamar Consolidated (1)

Foster JV Gold snagged a late lead and defeated Lamar Consolidated 6-1 on Tuesday. The game was tied at one with Foster JV Gold batting in the bottom of the third when Brett Bermudes singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run. In the bottom of the second inning, Foster JV Gold tied things up at one when an error scored one run for Foster JV Gold. Bermudes led the Foster JV Gold to victory on the mound. He allowed three hits and one run over three and a third innings, striking out seven. Case Parker threw two-thirds of an inning in relief out of the bullpen. Luke Capel went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Foster JV Gold in hits. Foster JV Gold didn’t commit a single error in the field. Capel had seven chances in the field, the most on the team.

3/8/19: Foster (1) vs. Lamar Consolidated (5)

Foster JV Gold lost the lead late in a 5-1 defeat to Lamar Consolidated on Friday. The game was tied at one with Lamar Consolidated batting in the bottom of the fifth when #3 tripled on a 3-2 count, scoring two runs.

Foster JV Gold got things started in the first inning. Luke Capel grounded out, scoring one run. Diego Saenz took the loss for Foster allowing four hits and three runs over four innings, striking out two and walking one. Chase Cloud, Lee Kubosh, and Marcus Mehaffey all had one hit to lead Foster JV Gold.

3/5/19: Foster (26) vs. Lamar Consolidated (2)

Foster sailed to an easy victory over Lamar Consolidated 26-2 on Tuesday. Foster opened up scoring in the first inning, when Zach Schroeder grounded out, scoring one run. In the bottom of the first inning, Lamar Consolidated tied things up at one. Foster pulled away for good with seven runs in the second inning. In the second Audin Sanchez singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run, Cade Sitka singled on a 2-2 count, scoring two runs, Schroeder doubled on a 2-1 count, scoring two runs, and Jackson Schwank drew a walk, scoring one run. Foster tallied seven runs in the third inning. Foster’s offense in the inning came from doubles by Reece Burke, Christian Martinez, and Chance Van Cleave, a single by Schwank, and a sacrifice fly by Joseph Aventurado. Cade Lubojasky got the win for Foster . He allowed five hits and two runs over three innings, striking out three. Jacob Capel and Ryan Balusek entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief. Foster racked up 16 hits on the day. Sitka, Carson Smith, and Schroeder all managed multiple hits for Foster. Sitka went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Foster in hits.

3/8/19: Foster (13) vs. Lamar Consolidated (3)

Foster had everything working on Friday, winning big over Lamar Consolidated 13-3. Foster notched four runs in the fifth inning. Foster offense in the inning was led by Christian Martinez, Chance Van Cleave, and Zach Schroeder, who all drove in runs. Jackson Schwank earned the victory on the mound for Foster. He went five innings, allowing three runs on six hits, striking out five and walking zero. Chase Albright threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen. Foster launched one home run on the day. Nick Mota went deep in the third inning.

Foster racked up 15 hits in the game. Jacob Flores, Martinez, Audin Sanchez, Van Cleave, and Schroeder all managed multiple hits for Foster. Martinez and Flores each collected three hits to lead Foster.
