Our 2019 Girls District Champ golf team wrapped up their season Monday at La Toretta Golf Club in the 5A Region III tournament. Proud of you ladies!

 

Foster Softball

4/25/19: Foster (23) vs. Northside (0)

Foster Softball advances to round 2 of the 5A playoffs.

 

Foster Falcons Varsity defeated Northside 23-0 on Thursday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout.

Foster secured the victory thanks to 14 runs in the third inning. Foster’s offense in the inning was led by Cici Mata, Kylie Neel, Amanda Allen, Leea Dempsey, Alexis Morin, and Shelby Showers, who each had RBIs in the inning. Foster got things started in the first inning with one run when Kylie Stamper doubled. Foster put up 14 runs in the third inning. Batters contributing to the big inning included Mata, Neel, Allen, Dempsey, Morin, and Showers, who all drove in runs. Allen led things off on the rubber for Foster. She lasted three innings, allowing zero hits and zero runs while striking out nine and walking one. Foster tallied 19 hits. Allen, Sierra Toman, Alyssa Muceus, Dempsey, Mata, Neel, Stamper, and Morin all collected multiple hits for Foster. Toman and Allen each managed three hits to lead Foster Falcons Varsity.

 

Foster will face Barbers Hill this week in Round 2 of the Playoffs.

It was Senior Night on Tuesday at the last home game for Foster Baseball. Congratulations to our seniors! We thank you and wish you the best of luck in your next adventures. Once a Falcon, always a Falcon!

 

4/23/18: Foster (8) vs. Terry (1)

Foster Falcons Varsity had all cylinders firing on offense on Tuesday, winning big over Terry 8-1. Foster got things started in the second inning when Bryson Harrell doubled on a 1-0 count, scoring two runs. Foster scored four runs in the third inning. Foster scored its runs on an RBI single by Sean Kelly. Jacob Flores led the Foster to victory on the pitcher’s mound. He surrendered one run on one hit over six innings, striking out five. Brandon Naivar threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen. Foster collected 12 hits on the day. Flores, Reece Burke, Chance Van Cleave, and Kelly all had multiple hits for Foster. Flores went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Foster Falcons Varsity in hits.

4/26/19: Foster (11) vs. Terry (1)

Foster Falcons Varsity defeated Terry 11-1 on Friday thanks to a timely seven runs in a big fifth inning. Foster’s big bats were led by Carson Smith, Cade Lubojasky, Christian Martinez, and Cade Sitka, all sending runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning. Foster got on the board in the first inning. Sitka drove in one when he doubled. Foster put up seven runs in the fifth inning. Foster offense in the inning was led by Smith, Lubojasky, Martinez, and Sitka, all driving in runs in the frame. Chase Albright took the win for Foster. He lasted four innings, allowing one hit and zero runs while striking out four and walking one. Jacob Capel and Clayton Godwin entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.

Foster socked one home run on the day. Sitka had a dinger in the fifth inning. Foster racked up ten hits. Sitka, Lubojasky, and Martinez all collected multiple hits for Foster. Sitka led Foster with three hits in three at bats.
